About us.
We are Business Models, Inc. We are a team of entrepreneurial spirits who look at the world differently. As our payoff suggests – we change perspectives. We believe that the problems our world is facing today are your biggest opportunities for the future.
That’s why we are on a mission to design, build, and grow better businesses – businesses that create a radical positive impact on the lives of many people and the world around us. We do this by combining value-driven strategy design, breakthrough business model innovation, venture building, and by transforming organizations into innovation powerhouses.
We are all about value creation.
We are fearlessly curious when we go out to explore the future of (your) business. We stretch the norms of today to innovate and go beyond, to build companies that can continuously adapt to our ever-faster-changing world. We team up with global leaders and inspiring innovators who want to be at the forefront and set the pace of change. Together, we create businesses that move the world forward.
With over a decade of award-winning experience and a million light years of ambition, we cannot wait to start working with you.
A decade of experience?
Yeah. About that, just to give you an idea where we are coming from. Twelve years ago, our founder and CEO Patrick Van Der Pijl, produced global bestseller Business Model Generation. With over 5 million copies sold, USA Today named Business Model Generation among the 12 best business books of all time. Since then, we have published two more books (Design Better Business and Business Model Shifts), and have helped over 200 companies with value-driven strategy design, breakthrough business model innovation, and innovative organization. Our success come in many shapes and sizes. Sometimes in awards.
In 2017, we were granted the Design Pioneer Award by Good Design Australia. In 2018, we bought a bigger trophy case. We were awarded 1st place in the Design Management Institute Value Awards together with Wavin, and we won another Good Design Award in the Design Strategy category, together with the Royal Society for the Blind (RSB).
But no worries. Like we said. We have a million light years of ambition and some space left in our trophy cabinet. So we’d love to win one with you.
